Information for WIC Local Agencies

Local WIC Agencies provide needed services to over 70,000 clients in Kansas. Every year, thousands of women, infants and children receive:

• nutrition education, which includes the promotion of breastfeeding, physical activity and the prevention of obesity;
• supplemental food; and
• referrals to needed health and social services.
